A beautiful garden now stands alone,
missing the one who nurtured it
But now she is gone,
Her flowers still bloom, and the sun it still shines,
But the rain is like tear drops, for the ones left behind,
The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away,
But the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay,
she loved every flower even some that were weeds,
So much love she would plant with each little seed,
But just like her flowers she was part of Gods plan,
So when it was her time he reached down his hand,
He look through the Garden searching for the best,
That's when he found Carol, it was her time to rest,
It was hard for those who loved her, to just let her go,
But God had a spot in his garden, that needed a gentle soul,
So when you start missing Carol, remember if you just wait,
When God has a spot in his garden, She'll meet you at the gate....

So sorry to hear this and my Condolense to the family

That was really beautiful Patty, and a special tribute to the sweet girl that Carol was. As I recall she was quiet and shy so it was so nice to read that she had a large and loving family.

Carol and her family were neighbors of ours after the freeway took our house and we moved from Alderwood Manor in 1961.  While she may have been quiet and shy in school, she was not at home.  Her large and busy family was always doing something.  We were neighborhood friends, but not school friends.  Carol was very musical and played the piano very well by ear, which really impressed me, who, despite lessons, could never get the hang of it.  Her sister Nancy, class of '66, died about 7or 8 years ago. R.I.P. Carol and Nancy.

(Someone will probably want to change the month on this web site obit to January smiley)

I did know Carol from school not so much socially though. I remember her as a happy person with always something possitive to contribute. Like those of our class who have passed on Carol's passing takes another piece of the rest of us with her. My condolences to her family.
