From Rose Clare Menalo Puett's son:

To whom it may concern, It grieves me to inform you of the passing of our beloved mother, sister, and friend, Rose Clare Puett (née Menalo). The details of her death are still unknown, yet we expect to have more information in the following weeks. Her memory is carried on by her children Chloe, Amy, Matthew, Joshua, and her granddaughter (expected in late September). We are hoping to hold a memorial soon and are considering her birthday, November 10, to be a suitable date that gives everyone enough time to plan on attending. We wish to have everyone meet in New York City (where Chloe lives) so that her first grandchild can be met with your blessings, without the undue stress of travel placed on the mother and her newborn. As money is regretfully a concern, especially in a city like New York, we're seeking out an affordable place to meet. We think that Rose would be best remembered with her friends and family coming together, enjoying everyone's company, and regaling her life with stories and fond memories. We'd also appreciate that anyone who wishes to attend please organize their own place to stay. We can suggest some places upon request. An alternative could be to set up skype, so that people can celebrate this memorial from their own cities. We also understand that if you'd like to pay your respects as soon as possible, we're also considering a small service in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This event is pending, according to how many requests we receive for such an occasion. Your attendance, or even just your thoughts, would be greatly appreciated.

I hope this unfortunate and sad news finds you and yours well. All of you are in our thoughts in these difficult times. Sincerely, Matthew Joseph Puett mjpuett@gmail.com
