Sharon Martin, 67, passed away February 24, 2014 in Tacoma, WA. She was born August 2, 1946 in Shelby, MI. She is survived by her father, John J. Martin and his wife, Ann; her mother, Christine Martin of Wenatchee, WA; brother, Joseph Martin and his wife, Nita of Woodinville, WA; her sister, Pam Martin of Union, WA; and niece, CJ Martin of Seattle, WA. Her extended family lives throughout the country.
Sharon graduated from Meadowdale H. S. in Lynnwood, WA. She held several accounting positions and was an award-winning Avon salesperson. For many years she has been receiving loving care at Orchard Park Health and Rehab Center, where she has been dealing with debilitating effects of multiple sclerosis and diabetes. Jan Canfield (Nofziger)
I hadn't seen Sharon in decades. but we were Alderwood girls together and visited in each other's homes frequently, before losing touch in high school. She did not have an easy life, and that makes this even sadder.

I, too, do remember Sharon as one of the kindest of students on campus, always willing to help others whenever she could. Sharon was extremely bright. In class she always had ideas that were truly insightful. I am saddened to learn of her passing. She was a treasure.
