Madelon, hope Steve is getting better. Recovery from a accident like that has to be grueling. Life is short and we need to cherish each day.

Just celebrated 46 years with my beautiful wife. Not bad for someone who was such a wallflower and shut in like myself.

Mike, I had a lung transplant Dec. and would have died in less then a month had a donor not been available at the last minute. Since then I've had two major rejections and renal failure two weeks ago. What I want to tell you if you don't believe in God then at least believe in yourself and all the people who care about you and fight like HELL. After 21 years in The Marine Corps and three tours in Viet Nam I can tell this, it's not the size of fighter but the size of the fight in the man. I have a family and friends who care about me just as you do. Never, never, never give up. It's what you make happen in your mind that counts not what happens. S**t happens to us all. Semper Fi!
