I had the pleasure of getting to know Nancy these past few years as she participated with George Reid in many of our MHS '65 class reunion gatherings. She was a joyful woman who loved reconnecting with old Meadowdale friends. Although she was battling melanoma, she never complained about her health or dwelled on the negative side of that struggle. I admire her for her positive attitude and willingness to try new remedies, keep up the fight, and be a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and especially a loving partner to our dear friend George. He, too, is a strong spirit and will carry on with wonderful memories of his beloved Nancy and with the support of his many Meadowdale family friends. Rest in peace, Nancy.

Our hearts are saddened by Nancy's untimely passing. As Anne mentioned, Nancy's mindset was always positive, always a fighter!  She loved to travel and was up for any adventure!  Nancy was so excited to go on  trips and outings with George. The four of us spent lots of time together, lunches, trips, ball games, etc. She told us on more than one occasion that her years with George were the happiest in her life! We are so grateful for the memories we have. She was full of life and we will miss her terribly.
