James Earl Sears, April 26, 1947 - February 8, 2023

James Earl (Jim) Sears (75) of Snohomish, WA passed away on February 8, 2023. He was born April 26, 1947 in Everett, Washington, the son of Charles and Violet Sears. Jim is survived by his loving wife Angelica and son Xander, his nephews Jeff Glaves of Stockton, CA and Bradley Glaves, as well as his niece, Jennifer Oren of Fresno, CA. In Washington, Jim was surrounded and loved by many family members including his two cousins, Dave and Mark Sears. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sue Shubin.
Jim was raised in Washington and graduated from Meadowdale High school in 1965. He graduated from the University of Americas in Mexico City where he became fluent in Spanish. Jim was a successful entrepreneur especially with the Seattle-Everett landscaping business he founded and operated for over 40 years. Jim was a true gentleman who was very giving to his family, friends and others. He loved fishing, salsa dancing, water skiing and traveling. Jim frequently spent the winter months in Mexico and Cuba where he met the love of his life, Angelica. Jim and Angelica were married in Everett in 2016. His enthusiastic personality and zest for life will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
